The City of Maroa is seeking applicants for Part – time Custodial work at City Hall.  Must be available between the hours of 9 am – 12 pm & 1 pm – 3 pm to clean the offices.  Weekend work is required occasionally.  Must be able to lift 50# occasionally.  Will keep inventory of supplies and let the Clerk know when supplies are needed. Approximately 10 – 20 hours a week.

Must have high school diploma or GED certificate. Ability to work independently.

The City of Maroa is seeking applicants for Part – Time meter reader.  Meter readers will assist the billing and water department in calculating our customers consumption level of water and sewer usage.  The person chosen will work approximately 3 days per month to record information about the meters into a handheld device that will upload the information for billing.  Must be able to walk long distances in all types of weather.  Must have own transportation.  The person chosen will report any inoperable or malfunctioning devices that are found or unauthorized changes to the meter when spotted in the field.

Must have high school diploma or GED certificate. Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
